That's right!  It's time to strut our stuff in Texas!!  Competing with other choruses, the awards ceremony and singing with other choruses, all together, is such fun!  If you love to sing, compete and sing at various venues, come check us out!  Bring a friend!  We practice on Monday nights from 6-8:30 PM at the Elks Club in Ozark MO.  If you need more info, contact me at:  [email protected].  

AUDITIONS

If you love to sing and have some experience singing(high school, church, etc.) come join our chorus!  We are now holding auditions.  Come and see how much fun we have each time we practice!  If you enjoy performing and going to competition, then we are for you!  My first day, coming to the chorus, was nerve racking.  I wasn't even sure if I was going into the building!   But as soon as I walked in, I was greeted with kindness and enthusiasm!  I never felt judged and still don't!  If you decide to become a part of our family who support each other and offer any help you need then come and see what we're all about!  

Summer music camp was a blast!  Even warmups were fun!  We learned many ways to improve our vocal skills and proper breathing.  Marketing and membership was also covered.  Our own regional champion quartet, JAZZ, performed for all of the other choruses.  They are headed to Phoenix this fall for international competition.(Go Jazz)  I think one of the things that I enjoyed most at this camp was the star chorus(which is comprised of singers from ALL region 25 choruses)!  Our song was Don't Stop, with choreo!   We were coached by the famous Dale Syverson!  The 50/50 raffle and a raffle basket was also won by two of our own.  I met so many new friends and can't wait until next year!  

I am having so much fun being a part of our chorus family!  Our director, Tawny, is supportive, energetic, committed and loves her new role in creating the best chorus we can be.  Exploring my love of music and making new friends are just a few of the benefits in participating.  I look forward to Monday nights practice because no matter what kind of week I've had, I feel lighter.  

What a thrilling time we had performing at the Harmony Classic AA Competition at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Our chorus placed fourth in the double AA division and we couldn't be more proud!

We did it again!

For the second year in a row We captured the Division AA First Place Medal at the Region 25 Heart of America competition!

And we moved into second place in the overall competition.  

We are pretty pumped to begin working on our Harmony Classic Competition Set.   

 VIVA LAS VEGAS!

Congratulations Springfield Metro Chorus!   This 5 year old chorus started with 8 members and the dream to learn as much as we could.   Every rehearsal is an educational experience with our Master Director John Stockstill.   Taking the gold in Baltimore in November of 2014 and  becoming the Sweet Adeline International Harmony Classic Division A 2015 Champions was an amazing memory but..... then we not only won the gold we scored the highest in the competition and earned the Mic Testing spot on stage at the 2015 International Semi Final Competition.  Boy were we tired when we got back from Baltimore!
